Job Description: This individual will be a Technical Business Analyst within the Insurance practice, with emphasis on the Life Insurance side of the industry. The individual in this role will perform business requirements analysis, workflow analysis and will write functional specifications. The Business Analyst will work in a cross-functional project team to provide analytical support of production systems. You will act as the liaison between the customer and technical team and will provide support throughout the project development lifecycle. You will design, write, and execute system/integration test plans as needed. In addition, the Business Analyst will perform in a highly visible client role by running client meetings/presentations, by owning a portion of a larger development effort, and/or by assisting in project implementation and end user training. The Technical Business Analyst will mentor analyst team members. A successful candidate in this role will: ? Perform business and systems analysis for large, complex problems ? Write functional specifications and end user documentation ? Design, write and execute system/integration test plans ? Perform various roles in response to business needs and project schedule, such as requirements, documentation, QA testing and support activities ? System process analysis ? Gain client confidence in ability to accomplish project tasks and manage client expectations ? Learn new technologies, applications, and business areas ? Issues Recognition and Escalation ? Tracking bug resolutions ? Managing project change control ? Good organizational and problem solving skills ? Provide leadership and mentorship to team members ? Provide task estimations ? Perform work within the scheduled timeframe ? Excellent verbal & written communication skills ? Insurance business experience ?Life Insurance products, Employee Benefits, etc. - highly desirable
