Job Description:
The Systems Engineer II (Ads) contractor will be part of the Internet Operations? team that supports and maintains the digital advertising services operating environment with specific attention to availability, performance, capacity and implementation. This position will assist and occasionally lead the development and maintenance of operational control and management systems to support operations, including: alarms, alerts, documentation and triage; infrastructure, content change control, and load management.
Principle Accountabilities
? Monitors and handles incident ticket queue, performing analysis of problems across multiple systems and customers
? Performs deployments and installations for customers, as needed
? Represents Ad Services in small to medium projects requiring the execution of various tasks in support of these projects
? Provides input for developing processes and procedures to deploy configurations into production environments
? Participates on projects for applications, upgrades and ad site migrations, as needed
? Assists in setting and enforcing the use of appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools
? Participates in SOX, MRC, parent company, internal and other audits of the advertising business
? Multi-tasks and manages multiple environments
? Provides on-call support and troubleshooting
? Works outside regular office hours occasionally
? Works from remote locations (remote offices, home) occasionally
? Coordinates and communicates with Internet Operations team members, help desk and others
? Prepares status reports for the manager and indirectly for the customer
? Troubleshoots problems quickly and effectively
? Mentors and trains other team members; readily shares knowledge
