High Level Job Description:
The Data Volume Management Administrator will be responsible for the overall SAP Data Volume Management program. As part of this role, the DVM champion will define the overall archiving strategy, incorporate it within the Enterprise Solution framework and develop accelerators (processes, tools and templates etc.) for the easy adoption of archiving solutions by future SAP projects. The role is a forward-looking one wherein the DVM champion will take the existing DVM architecture and solutions strategy and extend it to meet future data volume challenges and needs. The DVM Administrator will pro-actively identify and engage Enterprise Solution and business stakeholders to formulate the archiving vision and the adoption approach.
Job Description: Job Title: SAP HCM Data Archiving Specialist
The Archive specialist will be responsible for configuring, testing and deploying HCM archive objects.
Performance Measurements:
o Ability to develop archiving strategy and roadmap
o Ability to sell the archiving vision to a broad set of stakeholders, PepsiCo Enterprise Solutions, business and external vendor partners
o Ability to formulate and lead the adoption of archiving standards and guidelines in the implementations in a matrix fashion Ability to institute and sustain governance mechanisms in support of the archiving vision
Job Qualifications - Competencies:
o Detailed knowledge of all aspects SAP Technical Development streams (report, interface, conversion, enhancement, form, workflow etc.) and associated tools and technologies (LSMW, ABAP, XI etc.)
o Deep understanding of one or more SAP functional areas such as HR, Payroll, and FI/CO
o Deep understanding of dependencies between SAP Technical Development and other SAP implementation activities such as configuration, landscape and system planning and security.
o Deep knowledge of the integration points between the process teams and the Technology areas.
o SAP Technical Development experience in an off-shore model preferred
o Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP archiving concepts

Minimum of 10 years of IT experience with 7+ years of SAP implementation experience across the SAP technology stack. Experience leading archiving solution delivery (hands-on) in a SAP implementation required.
Knowledge of one or more SAP-certified archiving products such as EMC storage, PBS, EMC Archive Services for SAP, Documentum, PBS Content Link, SAP Content Server required. Hands on experience with HCM Payroll strongly desired.
Knowledge of SAP HCM archive objects desired
SAP ILM experience strongly desired
3+ years hands-on SAP development experience specifically in ABAP
2+ years of large-scale, global SAP deployment experience preferred
SAP Basis Experience desired.
Experience with BW Data Archiving desired
BS in Computer Science, Business, or Information Systems or equivalent degree
Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills.
