Job Description:
As our Senior SAP Application Engineer on the CAN team, you?ll have the opportunity to make great ideas happen. Your efforts will be instrumental in giving Nike the critical advantage over the competition. You?ll be doing the most complex custom design and development work in our SAP systems (R/3, ECC 6.0, and NetWeaver environments). You?ll be a leader in the research of our large initiatives. You?ll work on a mixture of software development and business analyses on Nike's cutting-edge Competitive Advantage team. You?ll also work as a CAN PrO (Process Owner), for a functional area within our R/3 environments, SCM environments, and other NetWeaver platforms. You?ll periodically lead groups of Developers to complete our large "Tier 2" initiatives. You?ll leverage your skills and knowledge to solve business problems, write high-level design and technical specifications, and assist on Nike SAP upgrades and Hot Pack Fix Pack efforts and Enhancement Packs. You?ll also lead and mentor other SAP Developers in the proper development techniques, and review designs and code, ensuring that Nike gets the best quality solution. You?ll work with Nike's business owners, Fulfillment Solution Delivery & Support team members, and vendors to resolve problems, prioritize new functionality, explain solutions and develop enhancements for new releases. In addition, you may be responsible for Can Team Integration Testing (SIT), coordination for major SAP releases, Data Dictionary (DDIC) work, and OSS Note application.
Experience Level:

Requirements:
? Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field
? 2 years? additional relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
? 5+ years? experience in one of the following areas: SAP ABAP development or apparel footwear industry development
? Application development in ABAP and/or ABAP objects experience. Prefer experience with large/complex implementations
? Experience with SAP R/3 4.6C or higher
? Demonstrated leadership capability, including ability to motivate and mentor others within a work group. Experience leading small teams and groups is a plus
? Experience with BW, APO (SCM), Event Manager, Java, and NetWeaver is a plus
? Experience with AFS Industry Solution (Apparel Footwear Solution) is a plus
