Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 7-10 years experience.
Description: Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Prepares specifications for system changes. Recommends and initiates systems testing. Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies. Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff.
Job Description (Senior Level Business Analyst)
· Lead business and systems analysis work streams for the technology project team that is providing consulting services for an international expansion project.
Candidate's responsibilities include:
· Review process flows drawn up (for international products) against current system capabilities (for domestic products)
· Document gap with current systems
· Participate in system selection and evaluations, as applicable.
· Engage current technology support teams to provide understanding of project requirements
Required skills
· Extensive experience with requirements and high-level systems analysis for large, complex financial systems
· Strong analytical skills
· Deep understanding and experience with evaluation and selection of commercial off-the-shelf solutions
· Extensive Financial services and technology experience
· Good communication and documentation skills
Preferred Skills
· International experience
· Industry verticals: SWIFT, common depository, trust accounting, securities and bond trading, FX systems, regulatory and accounting (Europe)
· Experience with vendors: SEI, SunGard, DTC, i-flex solutions (Oracle) , Euroclear and ClearStream
· Experience with applications and systems that run 24x7 across multiple countries (Europe) and languages would be a plus

· Managing interaction with internal technology teams and being liaison to the larger (business) project team
