Job Description: Our client has an immediate need for a Program Manager
Technical program manager to help implement and support the new email and messaging platform. This role involves wearing different hats at different times, working with different business units gathering and analyzing requirements. At other times answering questions about the product from business users, developers and technical support staff.
This position requires that you be a self starter take initiative and drive tasks to completion with little guidance from your manager. Primary areas of responsibility include requirement gathering, documentation, analysis of business requirements, and conversion of business requirements into functional requirement which can be consumed by software engineers. Testing of products and new features as part of acceptance and creating need based tools for automation. Person in this position needs familiarity with test automation tools. Should be able to provide support to your fellow developers, business users and operations
Responsibilities
Ability to work with various business units to gather requirements and convert them into functional specification that can be consumed by Software engineers. Ability to learn and master email campaign management solutions and be comfortable answering complex implementation, functionality questions Identifying problems and opportunities, and championing solutions Documenting requirements both business and functional. Testing new features and additions. Researching and evaluating new technologies
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of software analysis, implementation, troubleshooting and some testing Bachelor?s Degree Computer Science, Math, EE or equivalent experience in field Proven ability to work in ambiguous situation, collect requirements and come up with a consumable specification. Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences Ability to work both individually and in a team environment Expert in cross group communication, able to get buyoff from business, operations and others.
