Description:
We need senior candidates ( More than 8 years exp). Position
In this highly visible role, you will be accountable for leading mission-critical software projects/releases to enable robust, consumer-centric solutions in an effort to provide holistic services to our customers. Individual will lead matrixed teams through the definition and execution of successful software/platform releases.
Primary Responsibilities::
? Ensuring that business objectives/requirements are clear and agreed to by all stakeholders
? Taking end to end ownership of projects / releases
? Quantifying and driving projects to successful completion
? Developing project plans and managing resources to meet plan deliverables
? Assembling and leading project teams across multiple geographies (both on and offshore)
? Leading multiple projects/releases simultaneously and coordinating across multiple project teams
? Identifying risks, creating risk mitigation plans and minimizing risk
? Facilitating discussions and managing relationships with both technology and business communities
? Understanding overall project objectives, as well as the role and function of each project team member
? Ensuring that releases are deployed successfully
? Creating an environment for teamwork, open communications and ownership required for successful project completion
? Guiding teams to complete projects on time, on budget, and of high quality
? Assessing progress and providing status reporting to stakeholders
? Driving problem investigation and resolution as required
Qualifications:
? 5+ years Experience within the Information Technology profession
? 5+ years Direct experience as a successful Project Manager using predictable processes
? 5+ years Experience Demonstrating successful communicating across a variety of audiences, including executives, business staff and technologists (both up and down the organization)
? 3+ years Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and/or offshore team members of value
Assets:
? Prior software development, systems analysis and/or QA experiences preferred
Proven track record of delivering software releases / projects on time
? PMP is a plus
? Motivates and inspires other team members.
? Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
