Job Description: Job Summary Individual will be expected to design, install, monitor and troubleshoot client network security and network monitoring tools. This position will focus on IT Network Security, using the following systems and tools: Cisco MARS, NAC, Cisco ACE XML Gateway, Cisco Security Agent, Cisco WLAN, Cisco IDS/IPS, Cisco Firewalls/VPN/Routers and Cisco ACS. This position will be responsible for all phases of projects: design, planning, implementation and ongoing support, and will be expected to provide guidance and mentoring to clients in area(s) of technical expertise. Other responsibilities include extensive documentation, in ongoing efforts to meet project deadlines, as well as working with and interacting professionally with both clients and integrators to create proper development specs and expectations. Must be analytical, dependable and efficient. Team-oriented. Must possess good communication skills.
Key Goals and Responsibilities Contribute to the Company vision of being a preferred provider of professional network and security services through quality, commitment, courtesy and teamwork. Plans and executes all aspects of new security service development projects including the following project phases: business case development, requirements gathering, architecture development, product / service selection and procurement, functional and QA testing, detailed technical design, technology infrastructure implementation and deployment, migration from existing services, operational process and procedure documentation, operations staff training, internal marketing material development. Advises and consults clients on appropriate application of existing security services to solve their problems or enable new business opportunities.
Delivers information security services in support of client initiatives including: requirements gathering, technical design, service deployment and integration, migration, operational transition, end user documentation, user training. Serves as the subject matter expert on a number of production security technologies and fulfill corresponding vendor relationship and product/service acquisition, support, and maintenance contract management.
Provides technical architecture design and vendor management issue support for a number of production security technologies. Ensures issues requiring attention are addressed; Informs relevant parties on progress of current work and provide technical direction. Ensures assignments are completed accurately and on schedule. Performs other duties as requested by supervisor and provide timely and accurate weekly reports.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent Engineering degree. - Advanced - Built-in operating system security services and functions: Sun Solaris, MS Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, IBM AIX, IBM AS/400, Cisco IOS. - Advanced ? Host / Personal Firewalls: Zone Labs ZoneAlarm, ISS BlackICE, or any other enterprise-scale host / personal firewall solutions. - Advanced - Enterprise antivirus systems for servers, desktops, mail servers and Internet content: McAfee WebShield, GroupShield, VirusScan; Symantec AntiVirus, Antivirus for Groupware, Antivirus for Gateways; TrendMicro InterScan, ScanMail, ServerProtect; or others. - Advanced - Host intrusion detection and intrusion prevention systems (IDS / IPS): ISS RealSecure Server Sensor, Enterasys Dragon Squire, McAfee Entercept, Cisco (Okena) Security Agent, or others. - Advanced - Authentication systems: Kerberos, DCE Security Service, RSA SecurID, Funk Steel-Belted RADIUS, PassGO Defender, or others. Directories: iPlanet Directory Server, MS Active Directory (ADS).
Minimum of 4 years experience in information security solution engineering and security service delivery. Stellar technical writing, documentation development, process mapping, and visual communication, skills. Experience in managing several (two to four) concurrent large-scale enterprise wide information technology capability development projects. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Financial services industry (Insurance, Banking, Investments) experience a plus. CISSP and/or GIAC certifications helpful.
Superb customer service skills with the ability to tactfully work with clients and integrators. Must be detail-oriented, deadline driven, and able to multi-task with solid organizational, time management, follow through, and decision making skills. Professional presence, excellent verbal and written communication skills, courteous and positive attitude is required. Desire to work in a team environment.
