Job Description: Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated is looking for an A/V Specialist with Tandberg and Cisco experience to fill a position at a client site in St. Louis, MO. This is a long term contract position.
Position Purpose:
Position is responsible for support to users for various forms of audio/visual and video conferencing systems at the Company's office and mine locations. These systems include Cisco and Tandberg telepresence and video conferencing systems, Crestron panels, televisions, satellite TV receivers, projection systems (including smartboards) and document cameras, as well as telephones, computer network connections and computers located in company conference rooms and offices.
Principal Accountabilities: - Support end user use of audio/visual and video conferencing systems located at company locations in the St. Louis area. - Provide timely responses and resolution to customer problems and requests. Work closely with IT project teams and specialists to record, monitor, and satisfy customer requirements. - Prepare and update user and conference room documentation and procedures. - Ensure customer satisfaction by adherence to IT policies, procedures and methodologies.

Requirements: Position Requirements:
- Must have Bachelors degree in a computer related field or equivalent experience - Must have at least two to three years experience and proven success providing support for audio/visual and video conferencing systems in a corporate setting. Experience supporting executive users is considered a plus. - Must demonstrate ability to coordinate and monitor vendor activities related to installation and maintenance of audio/visual and video conferencing systems. - Experience and certification in Cisco and Tandberg video conferencing systems is not required, but is considered a plus. - Must possess expertise in personal computing technology relating to Intel-based PCs to include troubleshooting skills. - Must understand networking basics including QoS, VPN, basic routing and switching. - Must exhibit leadership qualities that require coordination with multiple teams and vendors in order to resolve problems in a timely manner. - Must possess strong oral and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively in English - Must be motivated, career minded, and be willing to work in a team environment
