Job Description:
Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated is looking for a Chief Collaboration and Learning Officer to fill an opening we have. This is a contract to hire position with full benefits and may be worked remotely.

GENERAL PURPOSE:
Dynamic leader responsible for the SYKES formal, informal competence exchange processes, and social learning and collaboration. This person leads the development of technologically advanced programs to ensure that employees meet their companies stated goals. With SYKES this means in a virtual environment. Employees includes corporate leadership, corporate management, operations management and front line employees who handle customer needs every day.

Creates, implements and directs educational and organizational development programs that are linked directly to the business strategies of the organization, and that support and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Identifies and evaluates weaknesses within the organization and develops educational resources that specifically target improvement.
Develops and executes an organizational learning process and curriculum.

Develops and successfully implements a strategy for virtual content conversion and delivery that incorporates existing materials utilizing technology and leading edge virtual learning concepts and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adheres to SYKES policies on ethics and integrity.
- Identify competencies that make employees at each level and function successful, and align development programs with the strategic objectives
- Continuously improves and executes on the on-line blended learning strategy for SYKES
- Champions and leads the use of emergent social software programs and blended learning programs
- Develops, maintains and monitors the departmental budget
- Leads the planning, developing, administering and evaluating the learning programs of the organization
- Ensures compliance with the standards of accrediting agencies and effectively and efficiently implements the responsibilities for accreditation reviews
- Defines and measures the learning effectiveness
- Inspects the virtual delivery and evaluates performance against defined virtual delivery criteria
- May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

GENERAL MANAGEMENT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will be responsible for managing either directly or through matrix management the global training leaders and organizations for all of SYKES.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- An advanced degree, either a Masters or a Doctoral degree is required. Typically it is in an education related field with an emphasis on distance learning / adult education
- Additional coursework in the social or behavioral sciences and/or adult learning would be helpful
- Certifications such as The American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) is desired
- 5+ years of leadership experience in the learning space
- 3+ years conducting and planning virtual training
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to build strong teams
- Proven ability ot lead by example and to foster training collaborative relationships
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to think creatively
- Ability to present to multiple audiences and roles within the company
- Outstanding verbal, written and presentation abilities
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools
- Strong evaluation and analysis skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong strategic and tactical skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of human systems dynamics and applied behavioral sciences.
- Demonstrated knowledge of various data gathering methodologies and quantitative analysis.
- Ability to approach organization as a whole and acts with the knowledge of how a change in one area affects another system
- Proficient with MS Outlook and Office
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Travel up to 25%.
