Currently we are seeking individuals for the following position: SAP FICO Functional Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY: The SAP FICO Functional Analyst will provide knowledge and expertise in the SAP ERP environment in multiple functional areas; will contribute leadership and knowledge for the business as it relates to all SAP initiatives. Global enterprise direction/governance over 7 instances of SAP globally and project management for SAP projects. This person will have shared responsibility in other financial systems such as Hyperion System 9 for global consolidations and FDM (previously known as Upstream) for mapping the SAP GL to Hyperion.
This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive business relationships throughout their area of responsibility, consistently adding value back to the business by leveraging their knowledge and experience to assist the business in addressing their business needs. This person will work with either internal or external design/implementation teams and work cross-functionally between the business and I.T. to bridge gap between design, content and technology.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES - Overall project management of projects within his/her area of responsibility, managing internal and external development/implementation teams for the design, implementation and testing of all new functionality/features - Responsible for the SAP configuration, change management, integration/regression testing of all new or modified functionality as it affects the World Headquarters and PTC functionality within the Enterprise instance of SAP - Responsible for providing functional and technical specifications for all development and work with development team members to successfully deliver development objects. - Responsible to manage expectations and communication with business stakeholders - Work with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain business processes and workflow for ongoing maintenance and enhancements - Providing a visionary approach to business/technology opportunities as well as a detailed, methodical involvement for daily management of the SAP environment - Establish and maintain successful relationships with internal customers - Make recommendations with financial impact in mind regarding IT technologies in his/her area of responsibility - Recommend and implement process improvements, policies, and best practices within the SAP and Hyperion environments - Create and maintain documentation necessary to ensure successful implementation and support of the SAP and Hyperion applications - Process reengineering, mapping and documentation activities that lead to problem resolution, process efficiencies and cost reductions

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Information Technology Areas of Expertise: - SAP ERP ECC 5.0 and above, Solutions Manager, Virsa Compliance Calibrator, FireFighter, Security - SAP BI/BW (data warehouse), BEX Analyzer - Mercury Interactive - Test Director - Hyperion (Oracle) HFM, System 9 - Hyperion (Oracle) FDM, alias Upstream - MS Office tools; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS VISIO, MS Project Portfolio - Axentis - Audit tracking tool
General Areas of Experience and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other related degree; MBA a plus - 6+ years experience SAP configuration, implementation and support in FICO; additional areas of desired experience includes MM, PS, SD and Customer Service, Release Strategy configuration, Workflow - Experience with Sap BI/BW data warehouse a plus - 2+ years of project management experience using project management tools - Experience in process design, reengineering and blueprinting - Demonstrated team/project management, organizational and leadership skills - Knowledge and experience in Internal/External/IRS audit activities and Sarbanes Oxley compliance; including use of tools such as Virsa Compliance Calibrator, FireFighter, DART and Axentis - Knowledgeable in SAP data extraction, SAP Query, Report Writer and ABAP programming; proficient in determining best method of information extraction - Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities - Ability to work directly with middle to senior management as well as employees throughout the organization - Ability to provide technology solutions that meet the business needs while staying within budget and often rapid timeframes - Results oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills - Experience working on cross-company or cross organization projects - Ability to understand new technology and drive the successful implementation and adoption of new technology tools - Ability and desire to solve complex software problems - Strong customer management skills and ability to understand translate and define complex business requirements and recommend solutions based on those requirements
