Currently we are seeking individuals for the following position: Associate Network Engineer - CircuitVision Position Purpose: Responsible for encoding client's new and existing telecommunication network in a database system called Circuit Vision. The system is used by all departments within the company from Customer Care to Network Operations Center, hence database accuracy is of utmost importance to support the growth and expansion. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintains and updates engineering records in Circuit Vision for on-going project installation and turn-up of metro and backbone networks. 2. Ensures the integrity of CVdatabase, performs corrections and changes to existing designs. 3. Provides technical support to Provisioning, NOC Capacity Management and Sales groups to all CV related issues and discrepancies. 4. Design, implement and project manage small to medium telecommunications systems and networks installations using industry accepted standards and practices. 5. Initiates, coordinates and completes move, add and change network to support new customer orders.
Experience Level: 3 Years
Requirements: Minimum Requirements B.S. degree in engineering or other technical field or 3 years of equivalent experience. Working knowledge of telecommunications engineering and technology. Experience in developing and maintaining databases. Preferably with hand-on experience in installation of telecommunication equipment. Proficient in Visio and/or AutoCad software.
