Our client is currently looking for a Mid level and Senior Software Developer in Wayne, PA.
Summary:
The Mid and Senior Software Developer performs analysis, design and development of software products, utilizing object-oriented, Internet, Java and other technologies. Applicants must be quick learners, have excellent interpersonal skills, have strong communication skills and effectively work on and with multiple project teams.
Principal Duties:
- Research and design new object oriented techniques and frameworks and incorporate best solutions into the software infrastructure.
- Develop applications using front-end, middle tier and backend service frameworks.
- Mentor other developers in best practices and appropriate use of design patterns.
- Estimation of task duration as inputs to schedule planning.
- Support projects through the entire lifecycle including design, development, testing and production release
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
- At least five years experience in software development.
- At least two years experience with Java/C# and object-oriented development practices.
- Java programming experience including J2EE (EJB, Servlets, JSP, JMX), JDBC, Java IO, and Java concurrency.
- Front end and middle tier development experience, including AJAX, DHTML, JSP, JSF, Spring.
- Development experience with CVS/Subversion, JUnit, Maven/Ant.
- Knowledge of JBoss, Tomcat, Eclipse, CruiseControl a plus.
- Experience with XML, Windows, Linux/Unix, OO and J2EE design patterns.
- Requires minimal oversight.
