Job Description: Our client, an established leader in the Pharmaceutical field located in Central New Jersey, currently has an immediate opening for a SAS Application Programmer. Job Responsibilities: - Contribute to the success of the Analytics team through design, development, evaluation, and modification of computer programs used to analyze and evaluate pharmaceutical sales data in SAS. - Writes programs typically using SAS language to support the analytics area. May also write programs using Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX, and/or Basic Script languages. - Recognizes inconsistencies and initiates resolution of data problems. - Implements data management plans designed to meet project and protocol deadlines. - Provide statistical programming expertise in the production of datasets, analyses, tabulations, graphics, and listings from sales data. - Perform quality assurance procedures and partners with the data quality control team to deliver timely and accurate information to business users. - Develop, test, validate, document, maintain and execute software and/or systems using the currently endorsed tools or support of production activities. - Assist in the integration of data from remote entry sites, contract organizations and co-licensing partners to the central database. - Develops, maintains, and provides on call support on an as needed basis. - May be required to assist with or assume other IS sales and marketing support responsibilities as deemed appropriate by management (ad hoc projects like testing, technical design). - Demonstrates required competencies on a consistent basis by keeping up-to-date on technology and concept developments. - Demonstrates company values on a consistent basis.

Requirements: Required Skills: - BS degree required in Computer Technology. - Experience in Sales and Marketing at a pharmaceutical company.
Must be able to work W-2 as a Devon Consulting employee.
