This is a multi-disciplinary role which requires strong software development knowledge and subject matter expertise with topics such as Web-driven application design and enterprise integration, relational database design, application architecture, security design and software development methodologies and processes. A strong knowledge of stored procedures and transact SQL is also required.
Successful candidates must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with clients, vendors and the business
We are looking for a developer to design and deliver mission critical business applications for enterprise clients using Microsoft .NET technologies. This position will also have responsibility for understanding client business and technical requirements and then delivering appropriate end-to-end solutions consisting of component-based, services-oriented applications developed using the .NET Framework and complementary Microsoft technologies

Requirements:
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS :
? Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other technical field is highly preferred
? At least 5 years of application development experience; preferably 3 years programming with Microsoft .NET framework
? Experience delivering applications from conception to completion utilizing SDLC
? Hands-on experience programming in VB.NET
? At least 3 years of SQL Server experience (SQL 2000 and 2005)
? Hands-on experience using Visual Studio .NET 2003
? Prior experience with document management systems is preferred
? Prior experience programming in Java is preferred
? Knowledge of database structures and creating stored procedures
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
? Strong problem-solving skills and ability to comprehend complex mathematical calculations and formulas.
? Solid oral and written communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
? Reporting to the Director of Application Development, this position will help document business requirements and consult on specific project needs and strategies.
? Design a scalable architecture to meet these goals both now and for future development
? Build projects to specification and time scale adhering to the SDLC
? Develop data analysis capabilities.
? Perform integration work with current media systems.
? Write technical specifications and provide technical diagrams of all new development efforts.
? Create and promote best practices on standards of programming style and technique
