Job Description:
Skills and Competencies:
The role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to architect a solution by mapping business needs to an end-to-end technology solution.
· The candidate should possess a strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems from Windows 2000 through Windows 2008, Active Directory and expert level knowledge of Exchange 2003/2007.
· Minimum of 5 to 6 years hands-on experience in a large (10,000 seats) enterprise level environment.
· Hands-on experience in large multi- domains and multi-sites Active Directory environment, DNS, GPOs.
· Working knowledge of:
Identity Lifecycle Management (ILM) formally known as MIIS
Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007
Symantec Enterprise Vault E-mail archiving
EMC storage SAN and Centera
Microsoft Clustering
SCOM 2007
SharePoint 2007
Blackberry ver. 4.x
IBM, Dell and HP server hardware experience
Understanding of production operational requirements and methodologies
Solid documentation skills
Proven problem identification and resolutions skills
MCSE certification desired
Duties:
· Support and maintain the following Enterprise technologies and their respective environments:
Active Directory
List Server
X.500 Mail Hubs & Directory Services
Symantec Enterprise Vault systems
Exchange 2003 Servers
Iron Mail SPAM appliances
E-mail Gateway BisCom e-fax
Wireless E-mail (Blackberry & Windows Mobile)
Systems Management (SCOM, HP Open View, IBM Director, Symantec Antivirus systems)
SharePoint server
· Resolution of problem tickets reported through E2E system in a timely manner.
· Develop scripts as necessary for operational requirements.
· Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Work on assigned project and participate and contribute to design discussions and decisions and deliverables.
