ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Plumbing Designer provides plumbing design and drafting support to select project teams under the supervision of a Senior Plumbing Designer or the Department Head.
-Conduct accurate existing condition surveys
-Design and draft small projects
-Design and draft components of large-scale projects under the supervision of the mechanical team leader
-Prepare project design documentation including calculations
-Review construction submittals under the supervision of the mechanical team leader
-Ensure all project design work is completed on schedule and within budget
-Perform quality control review on all work completed and/or work directed.

Requirements:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
-2 to 5 years design and drafting experience
-Construction Document Technologists (CDT) certified by the Construction Specifications Institute
-Experience with renovation and new work projects for commercial, government, and institutional clients
-Familiarity with building codes and standards
