Job Description: Compensation Analyst - Akron, Ohio - Salary 68 to 80K + bonus to almost 90K
Our client, located in Akron, Ohio is seeking a Compensation Analyst who will be responsible to perform various Business-related activities to support the Executive Compensation and Benefits section of Corporate Human Resources.
Responsibilities: ? Assists in the annual executive benefit open enrollment process. ? Assists in the processing of deferred salary and bonuses. ? Assists the section in the compilation of various ad-hoc reports and statistics for Company's compensation programs and initiatives. ? Conducts, participates and analyzes executive compensation and benefit surveys to ensure competitiveness to the external market. ? Oversees the administration of the performance share program in SAP, which is one of the components under Company's Long-Term Incentive Program. ? Participates in the design, implementation and administration of executive compensation and benefit programs, policies and guidelines, including but not limited to the annual base salary review and short- and long-term incentive programs. ? Participates in the development, design and preparation of materials for the Company Board of Directors, including but not limited to executive tally sheets and incentive payout reports. ? Prepares and delivers compensation related presentations to executives within the Company. ? Prepares materials for the company's annual meeting of shareholders and proxy statement. ? Prepares the annual budget for incentive programs in conjunction with the established budgeting process and timelines. ? Provides project management and analytical support in key compensation special projects. ? Remains knowledgeable of executive compensation trends and recommends process improvements
Skills Desired: ? Strong analytical and quantitative skills are necessary to collect and analyze data, identify issues and solve problems. ? Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple work assignments and meet demanding deadlines. ? Must have the ability to apply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations. ? High degree of proficiency in Word, Excel and Access as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required. ? SAP experience preferred. Previous experience in the administration of executive compensation plans and programs, compensation or a related field required. The employee will perform the primary responsibilities with assistance from other team members and with direct supervision. ? Previous experience in the administration and design of executive compensation plans and programs, compensation or a related field required. The employee will independently perform the primary responsibilities and more complex assignments, develop and recommend solutions and have demonstrated ability to be an accomplished contributor.
Education Level: ? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is required.
