Job Description:
Revenue Cycle Manager
Reports to Senior VP Operations
Basic Function
Understands the critical success factors associated with the Revenue Cycle process. Ability to provide analytical analysis, create written processes and train others in implementing a cross functional revenue cycle team.
Responsibilities
Develop a standard approach to all aspects of the Revenue Cycle which would reflect in our Standard Operating Procedures.
Create a cross functional training manual for Executive Directors and Financial Managers that incorporates our approach along with the operating manual of Misys Optimum
Develop analyses that identify potential concerns within the Revenue Cycle
Produce standard monthly reports that assist in the monthly forecast process
Provide oversight and training to all partner practices
Assist in training new users on system attributes and relevance to key RCM indicators
Provide remote training during new partner integration or market consolidation ventures.
Develop new methods of analyzing data that ensures all procedures were performed and captured through patients episode of care.
Handle user inquires during peak periods or due to an employees paid time off
Position Qualifications
College Degree
Minimum of five (5) years of medical billing management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential
Ability to present findings or train large groups of users
Working Knowledge of all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access)
Ability to work with a multi disciplinary team
Able to travel
