Job Description:
The Index Group Inc is looking for several developers to support their client.
As a developer on this team, you will work to create cohesive applications that provide consistency but meet our client's requirements. We are looking for several developers to work on the team and deliver under an aggressive implementation schedule. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, growing team!

5+ Years
Requirements:
Demonstrated technical leadership in developing and maintaining solutions for complex business problems involving web applications and large databases. Significant experience in web application development using Java and J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlets, Java Beans, JDBC), XML, Oracle RDBMS.
Very strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work well independently and as part of the team.
* Ability to analyze business requirements and develop system/process designs
* 5 years experience developing complex web applications using J2EE technology
* Develop applications in Windows and Unix environments
* Integrate and develop applications associated with workflow or business process management
* 4-5 years experience with development in an Oracle database environment
* 4-5 years experience with complete software development lifecycle (SDLC)
* 4-5 years experience with object-oriented design (OOD) and design patterns
* 4-5 years experience with Rational Unified Processes (RUP).
* Work with limited supervision
Must be a US citizen or GC holder and be clearable.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
* Experience with ColdFusion, HTML and JavaScript
* Experience with Financial Data Systems
* Experience with PVCS Version Manager (VM) and Tracker
* Ability to mentor less experienced staff
* Sun /Oracle Certification
* Significant experience in Object-oriented Analysis and Design, use of standard modeling techniques, design patterns, UML, and Rational Rose or System Architect
* Experience with RAD 7.0, WSAD, or Eclipse preferred
* Experience with ClearCase/ClearQuest preferred
* Experience working with analysts to interpret business requirements and offer, design and implement technical solutions
* Broad knowledge of methodologies, web technologies, technical solutions and their trends
* Experience in estimating development effort and creating a workplan
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Project desired
Education Required:
* Bachelor*s degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering.
