Job Description: FLSA Status: Exempt Location: Morristown, NJ Base Salary: $95K-125K Total Comp 1st Year: $150K to $225K
Basic Purpose
Our client is seeking a highly polished sales person to lead in the sales process for IT solutions. You will be responsible for creating business relationships and generating sales leads with high-level contacts often through face-to-face and client site visits. - Maintains an ongoing business relationship with current industry clients to facilitate future sales. - This position closes sales, even large and complicated projects and solutions sales. - Compensation incentives are tied to resulting sales per our clients generous base plus commission plan. - You must become familiar with our client's strategic direction, major initiatives and areas of investment over the next 12 to 18 months and take them to our target markets. - You will craft solutions leveraging our capabilities with client directional needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development: - Map the account - build client relationships at the CXO level and with hiring managers who purchase IT consulting services to maximize requirement opportunities. - Cold call prospective leads - Follow up on warm leads - Convert hot leads into sales - Build the solutions business through the selling of onshore & offshore (GDM) projects and solutions - Build a sales pipeline for offering project based services - Support professional services sales - Become thoroughly familiar with client systems and processes - Negotiate rates with client managers - Coordinate with recruiters to fulfill project staffing requirements
Marketing: - Develop tailored marketing programs to increase awareness with prospects and clients - Prepare proposals and respond to RFP's - Participate in a lead role in sales presentations - Conduct client meetings to build and maintain relationships
Sales Process & Training: - SalesForce use and maintenance - Submit weekly and other related sales reports - Become thoroughly familiar with our client's sales processes including System Usage, performance management & KRA?s, as well as sales related documents & templates, Workflows, and eHRIS.
Experience Level: 4 Years
Requirements: Essential Education, Skills, and Environment
- Consultative sales focus - Selling offshore projects and solutions using the Global Development Model (GDM) - Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree desirable - Must be technically savvy from a sales perspective or formal IT experience - Advanced working knowledge of PC and related software applications
Specialized Knowledge and Skills: You must possess excellent communication, listening and presentation skills, extremely enthusiastic, motivated, entrepreneurial and aggressive, strong negotiation skills, closing skills, diligent follow-up skills, flexibility, openness, ability to work within a culturally diverse environment.
