JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for fulfilling the companys global requirements for information and systems by completing project assignments to design, configure, and maintain SAP Finance (FI) and related SAP software modules. Also responsible for communicating ideas, plans and progress and for improving their own professional skills. Assists with the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) SAP program. Customizes and configures software to allow the integration of client/server applications. Tests ERP configuration to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs. Familiar with a variety of the SAP Systems concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.

This company currently has multiple SAP FICO openings as they are doing a North American rollout.
They want some strong FICO people like yoursef that have some of the following skills:
* Design and configuration proficiency in SAP FI/CO with knowledge of CO - PA
* Experience with, SAP IDOC structures, ABAP fundamentals, and SAP files structures.
* Knows the FI/CO module integration points with other SAP modules.
* Experience with SAP ECC 5.0 or 6.0,
* Experience with SAP AP, AR, GL and Asset Accounting in multiple with multiple currencies.
* Experience with data migration for SAP FI/CO objects
* Experience using / sending data to or reporting from / the SAP BIW is preferred.
* Experience with a Global SAP System utilizing Unicode.
DESIRED/OPTIONAL SKILLS:
Exposure to the new GL is preferred
