Job Description: * 10+ years supporting a pharmaceutical commercial sales and marketing organization
* 7 years of information technology experience with sales, marketing, and eBusiness systems
* 5 years of project management experience or 10 years of general management

Requirements: * Understands business processes and business challenges and actively seeks to identify ways to apply technology to business projects and processes in the corporate business units and ensures technologies are aligned with business strategies.
* Builds strategic technology plan for business unit and works with the Director of Global Business Relationship Management and team to identify how that plan fits with the plan of other business units and builds an integrated technology plan with efficient processes for the corporation.
* Identifies business unit's strategy and long term plans to support the corporate strategy.
* Build strong relationships with the executive management team. Influence strategic thinking to make use of technology to improve operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
* Meet with Marketing and customers to understand requirements for custom solutions and to understand the impact of those solutions on existing systems.
* Understands business processes and identifies opportunities for improvements or redesign.
* Applies appropriate financial concepts (e.g. ROI, Cost/Benefit) to determine business implications of technology decisions. Measure and report on value of investments after implementation.
* Formulates approaches that achieve desired business objectives, including defining system scope and objectives and assisting with business case justification and presentation to Executive Management.
* Provides direction and influence for continuous improvement of existing processes leveraging technology.
* Prepare and maintain IT annual operating expense and capital budgets for business units.
* Evaluates unit and employee performance and prepares appraisals (if applicable).
