Reference Number: WebDesign Job Description: * Fast growing company is seeking a web designer. * * Design using efficient/effective code - HTML, XHTML, Javascript, XML * Must have proven hands-on work experience designing/developing high quality web elements in support of portal technology (eg. IBM Websphere Portal Version 6x). * Create/acquire professional graphics or obtain non-proprietary photographs for the web portal Experience Level: Unspecified Requirements: * Support a structured application development process & adhere to company Change Control procedures. Knowledge of standard differences in style, functionality & performance between portlets/portals. * Design/develop portlets/portals optimized based on the current standards (eg. InternetExplorer 6) and follow best practices to migrate/upgrade to the next approved versions or releases. * Responsible for documenting, supporting, maintaining and updating the applications in the portal environment.
