SCOPE OF WORK / JOB DESCRIPTION Seeking a Senior developer in a core technology group (Global Derivatives Technology) that supports the middle and back office global platform for Investment Bank?s Over-the-Counter (OTC) Derivatives. Candidate will work on cutting edge technology including AJAX, Google Web Toolkit (GWT), multiple J2EE technologies (JSP, EJBs, JMS, JTA), Image Processing (Java Advanced Imaging, JAI Image I/O) and Java Scripts/DHTML. System uses the full power of J2EE with multiple technologies on a Weblogic platform. Resource will be primarily working on key strategic projects sponsored by Institutional Clients Group (ICG) ? OTC Derivatives Operations in the Derivative Confirmations space. Resource will implement a global Confirmations/Document Template and Content Management Solution and integration of global OTC Derivative Confirmations Workflow BPM platform. Resource will design, develop and maintain an AJAX GWT based Java/J2EE framework.

Requirements:
- 6+ years experience in AJAX/DHTML/Javascript, Java, J2EE, Object-Oriented analysis and design. - Must be very familiar with relational database concepts and should have working experience with database programming (SQL/Stored Procedures) as well (Sybase or Oracle). - Candidates must have in-depth experience working with J2EE technologies ? JMS/EJB/JDBC/Java Scripts. System uses the full power of J2EE including advanced technologies such as Java Imaging, Java Image I/O for OCR/Barcoding and image processing. Hence a good grasp of J2EE concepts and technologies is a must. - Must also have working experience with Weblogic. - Working experience with GWT / AJAX framework is a major plus. Business knowledge of OTC Derivatives is a plus but not required. NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS Team Player, Self-starter and thorough who is willing to take on any assigned job / responsibilities. Self-motivated, articulate and familiar with software development life cycle methodologies. Flexibility to work overtime is needed.
