Reference Number: 09-00894 Job Description: SUMMARY: This client is responsible for the development of applications which service the needs of our hedge fund clients from front to back. The suite of applications acts as the public interface of Investment Bank to the client and supports functions such as portfolio management, real time trade processing, risk management and reporting all in a high volume, highly scalable, distributed environment. Experience Level: 4 Years Requirements: . Senior Unix/Java developer positions with at least 5 years Financial industry application development experience, Risk management background is a plus; . Strong Java, Sybase, Perl/Unix Scripting, and C++ programming skills; . System architecture design, OO design patterns, database model design; . Quantitative knowledge of basic pricing/risk calculations of financial instruments; . Strong data analysis/problem solving/system debugging skills; . Team player with ownership mindset, Strong working ethics; . Effective written and oral communication skills required; . Able to deliver project end to end independently, and good Project management skill needed; Gen-24466
