Reference Number: 09-00957 Job Description: Investment Banking Domain. As part of a new initiative we would be developing a Dashboard/Portal and Data Warehouse to track and manage metrics automatically, over time and in many dimensions. The team is responsible for implementing new application components, integrating existing components for the dashboard/portal and pulling together data from various sources. Experience Level: 4 Years Requirements: We are looking for a DW DB developer with Strong Data Modeling, Data Analysis, ETL architecture, Database design, OLAP, and Reporting in financial industry. 6+ years of working in various data management initiatives Thorough understanding of ODS, Data Warehouse, Datamarts and Cubes Strong Database fundamentals and data modeling knowledge Outstanding experience in Logical and Physical data modeling in OLTP and OLAP environments Experience in modeling financial schemas Experience in documenting the models with Erwin or ER Studio. Strong experience in dimensional modeling Some knowledge of cubes development using SSAS or Cognos or Essbase Strong conceptual and design ability in ETL area Experience developing ETL process to load dimensions and hierarchy data Experience with Database application development (Stored Procedures, PL/SQL) Strong SQL Background Strong UNIX, Perl and Shell scripting Worked in an environment where data is sourced from Hyperion essbase cubes Developed Autosys Jils Strong Data Analysis skills 2+ Years of financial industry background is mandatory Strong analytical skills Good background working with quantitative data Pluses: Experience with one or more ETL tools like Ab Initio, Informatica. Some exposure to Business Objects Some exposure to SSAS NZ-992
