Job Description: Manager Solution Line Product Marketing - General/Corporate Counsel Facing Law Firm Marketing and Services position is responsible for developing and articulating the value proposition at the product, category and solution line (if applicable) level and ensuring that customer insights and targeting are incorporated into the product strategy and roadmap. Qualified candidate will craft the positioning and messaging content that is incorporated into segment marketing plans. This position is also responsible for creating the plan that represents priorities and initiatives of the solution line in order to drive the maximum revenue and profitability growth.

Requirements: Accountabilities: * Defines value proposition, positioning and messaging at product, category and solution line level * Clear articulation of sustainable competitive advantage * Positioning statements * Power positions * Customer business issues * Customer benefits * All key message content (white papers, website, advertisement, etc.) * Monitors overall customer experience related to specific products, categories and makes recommendations for improvement with respect to: * Positioning (owns) * Pricing, * Sales training * Customer onboarding * Customer support * Etc. * Interface with Global Marketing Strategy/VOC team to understand customer total experience related to our product and solutions offering. Inform product champions of product requirements and roadmaps. * Provide customer feedback regarding pricing (in context of overall value proposition) and pricing as a means of ensuring aligned pricing structures. * Identifies targets * Recommends product launch approaches based upon customer lifecycle and competitive set * Understands competitor set, strategy, differentiators and monitors competitor positioning and perceived positioning * Manages solution/product specific advisory boards (as applicable) * Manages solution/product specific primary market research * Directs market research priorities for product marketing related priorities such as claims research, customer perceptions and attitude, user behaviors * Manages priorities and research queue for product and usability research * Understands customer and competitor trends * Develops a framework to prioritize opportunities and initiatives for the solution line * Communicates those priorities to Marketing, Segment Planning and Sales * Monitors progress against priorities and provides feedback to organization as appropriate
* MBA or equivalent experience * Requires minimum of 4-7 years relations product and solution marketing experience, preferably with some B2B and B2C * Professional marketing experience preferred * Technology product marketing experience preferred * Track record of thriving in a complex, multi-cultural, matrixed environment with virtual teams of high-level professionals in business units across the globe. * Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation, writing and negotiation skills ? Business orientation with an understanding of how to translate business solutions into marketing strategies ? Proven success driving results ? Proven ability to build strong relationships at every level of the organization ? Strong influencer skills
