Our client is an international company growing substantially and establishing a comprehensive BI initiative. Great opportunity for a Java Enterprise Application Integration Engineer in a newly created position on a small team with very low turn over! We are working directly with the hiring manager.
ROLE
JAVA EAI ENGINEER
Skilled Architect in the domain of Java technologies to play the role of a Integration Engineer for Enterprise Application. In this role the Engineer will work closely with development teams to setup a robust middleware environment for integration of multiple enterprise applications. Discover, analyze and create reusable and scalable assets to make complex integration needs possible. Primary skills with Java, XML and WebSphere.
REQUIRED
-- 4+ years as a Software Engineer/Architect
-- Excellent understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and its set of principles and methodologies.
-- Hands on experience on design, development and testing of Web Services Interfaces and Application development.
-- Solid understanding of the following:
---- J2EE Technologies
---- HTTP Response Request Cycle
---- Web Services standards
---- XML and its related technologies
---- Enterprise Application Design Patterns
---- AAA
---- LDAP
---- ESB Concepts
---- BEPL Concepts
---- Experience with Datapower desired but not required.
---- Must have effective oral and written communication skills
---- Self motivated, able to work in a team and independently
-- Experience gathering business requirements and turning them into detailed functional design specifications.
-- Ability to comprehend complex technical and logical concepts and adapt quickly
-- 3+ years of hands on experience with the Application Development
-- Programming experience with SQL & PL/SQL
-- Ability to balance flexibility and task priorities to best meet the frequent demands of multiple internal customers
-- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
-- Strong Analytical and quantitative skills
-- Ability to work both autonomously and cooperatively within a fast-paced environment
-- BA or BS degree
