COOK SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL has an IMMEDIATE need for a Senior SAP Project Leader.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
The Senior SAP Implementation Project Leader will provide leadership and direction for all aspects of the SAP implementation . This leader will have broad-based SAP experience in FICO, BI-BW, MM, PP and SD with responsibility for translating business requirements into IT solutions that improve efficiency and productivity in an industrial environment. The SBA position requires working effectively with stakeholders, business partners and technical resources to ensure that business requirements become operational. The SBA must be able to effectively communicate business requirements, document business/functional requirements, perform business process mapping, system testing, and user acceptance testing, and conduct training. The SBA serves as the link between the Business and the IT function.
Identify, understand and/or challenge the business requirements, implementation implications and project constraints
Perform Cost/Benefit analysis as required
Ensure smooth implementation into business areas and provide post implementation support
Prepare / present training material where required
Monitor and assess issues raised during the project and take appropriate action to ensure resolution
Track and log issues as they arise, ensure changes to scope are agreed with the Project Management Office (PMO)
Communicate regularly with Business Users, IT, Project Managers throughout all stages of the project life cycle to ensure that the project is meeting the business requirements
Provide regular project communications and status reporting
Gather and document business requirements by working with the business users and stakeholders to understand their needs
Facilitate communication with developers in a distributed environment to ensure that customer requirements are translated to design specifications and appropriate testing efforts are applied
Participate in process improvement activities and metrics
Provide application end-user training, including the development of end-user documentation
Produce test plans/scripts, conduct system testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing activities
Work with the business functional areas to research and identify the best solution to support the most efficient business processes
Where appropriate, perform application setup and configuration in support of the implementation of new modules or the addition of new functionality
Provide tier one support to the business users as required
Required Skills/Experience:
BS Degree in Computer Science or related field, MBA preferred
5-10 years as a Senior IT Business Analyst
7 years Project Management Experience
Progressive SAP leadership roles within an industrial environment and in depth experience in supply chain processes, manufacturing and consultation
Previous experience in the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering and technical / systems analysis and design
Ability to understand business needs and clearly document business and functional requirements
Experience in communicating functional requirements to technical resources
Strong strategic, tactical and analytical skills
Outstanding attention to detail
Excellent Inter-personal and Communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
A bility to multi-task and handle ambiguity
Deadline-oriented, highly disciplined and can self-manage
Strong understanding of key business functions
