Job Description:
COOK SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL has an IMMEDIATE need for a WEB /DATABASE PROGRAMMER ANALYST .
Prerequisites:
** Four year degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
** Minimum of 2 years related experience using C#.Net or other .Net syntax experience a plus
** Experience with PHP a MUST
** Experience with XML and Web Services
** Shop floor processing with integration to Level 2 a plus
** Experience with Crystal Reports
** SQL programming and administration skills (SQL Server 7.0 and above).
** Have a working knowledge of Windows NT/2000/XP and Windows NT/2000/2003 Server
** Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
** Organized, goal-oriented, results driven and excellent time management skills
** Have well-developed analytical, interpersonal and communications skills
Responsibilities:
** Lead and direct all phases of application development lifecycle for dynamic web applications.
** Database management, design, and development of RDBMS
** Develop new enhancements and maintain existing functionality for the Hickman web sites.
** Migrate critical MS Access databases to SQL and make web-based.
** Work with users to understand current business practices and develop automated tools and solutions to improve efficiency.
** Create and maintain documentation of existing and future systems
** Work with other IT staff and/or vendors as required in order to resolve issues
** Follow design and programming standards
Additional:
** Experience in a heavy industrial job setting, steel application knowledge is a plus.
** Experience with Photoshop or other image editing tools.
** Business intelligence, statistical analysis and data warehousing exposure.
