Job Description:
This is an ongoing data warehouse project. The programming tools we use include MS Analysis Services 2005 using MDX (multidimensional tables), VB.NET 9.0 , Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2005. The cube structure and several of the first reports were designed and implemented with the help of a third party vendor, from off-site. We would now like to build these advanced Reporting Services skills in our own staff and feel that having an expert on-site would best facilitate this effort. Wed like our on-site expert to help develop additional reports that have been identified by our end-user group and help our four other developers learn to write reports against the cube as well. The on-site expert would be expected to: ﾷ Help develop the detailed report specifications with end-users. Twenty-two reports have been mocked-up and seven of them are completed. ﾷ Implement these reports using Analysis Services and Reporting Services ﾷ Help the four other programmers learn the techniques required to write reports against the cube structure and get them writing some of the reports.
