Job Description: The candidate filling this Senior Systems Analyst position will be responsible for working with internal and external business partners to identify, analyze and document requirements to develop new features needed for the application. The candidate will also be responsible to work with various internal groups like development team, software test team and others to make sure that agreed upon solution is documented and delivered to end users. The candidate will also be involved in documenting changes to existing documentation to help modify existing features of the application. Candidates will have to follow newly rolled out SDLC process and will be documenting functional requirements, technical requirements, non functional requirements, implementation details and test conditions documents. The candidate MUST be an expert in using POWER DESIGNER tool for documentation. Candidate must also have working experience in using MS VISIO or similar tools to document use cases and deployment models. Candidate should demonstrate expertise in writing basic database queries to validate date in Oracle 10g database. Candidate must also be an expert in using MS Office tools like MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point. Candidates showing familiarity with JAVA/J2EE technologies and are able to read JAVA/J2EE, JSP?s, XML and HIBERNATE code will be given preference and is a definite plus. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: 1. Act as liaison between the business units and internal partners/external business partners for assigned projects by communicating accurate and timely updates to all stakeholders and leading reviews of business requirements and solution definition. 2. Conduct regularly scheduled reviews of newly proposed and existing features to ensure quality and accuracy of the projects or features delivered to the end-users. 3. Candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving ability, as well as logical, and analytical skills, which can be applied across multiple applications. 4. Candidate must be familiar with general programming and system analysis concepts. 5. Candidate must follow the new SDLC process being rolled out. If required adequate training will be provided. Candidate?s familiarity with this new process it is a definite plus. 6. Candidate will be responsible for creating functional requirements, technical requirements, implementation details, unit test conditions using templates provided by SDLC process using Power Designer tool. 7. Candidate must have experience working on development of web applications using Java, J2EE technologies. Candidate must be able to read code developed using Java/J2EE technologies. 8. Candidate must also have working experience in using MS Visio or similar tools to document use cases and deployment models. Candidate should demonstrate expertise in writing and executing basic database queries to validate data in Oracle 10g database. Candidate must also be an expert in using MS Office tools like MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point. 9. Work with system developers, technical analysts, testing teams, project managers and end users to assist in development, validation, and delivery of all aspects of the solution. 10. Participate in design meetings and apply industry standard analysis techniques, including Use Cases where appropriate, to assist in providing the optimum solution for a given business opportunity. 11. Perform comprehensive preliminary development level testing and produce all entrance criteria documentation ranging from logical deployment diagrams, Functional Requirements, Technical Requirements to Unit test cases, etc required for promoting products under development to Software Testing team. 12. Maintaining team spirit and a positive attitude. 13. Coordinate the software releases with configuration management and release management teams under direction of manager. 14. Candidate must have very good written and oral communication skills. 15. Candidate will be responsible for executing unit test conditions and will be performing basic regression testing of application in controlled environment to ensure better quality of software is delivered to Software Test team and eventually to production.

Requirements: The ideal candidate must have at least 6-8 years of progressively diverse analysis, development, and testing experience using Web and XML technologies. The person must demonstrate strong knowledge and experience with the responsibilities outlined above. 1. Experience with MS Visio and similar tools to document deployment diagrams and use cases. 2. Familiarity and Experience with XML. 3. Experience in reading object oriented application code developed using Java/J2EE technologies 4. The candidate must demonstrate strong knowledge and experience with the responsibilities outlined above. The candidates must have significant experience with technologies listed above 5. Experience with ETS test and delivery systems is definite plus. 6. Experience with software engineering infrastructure, including configuration/build management tools, release/change control, and issue tracking tools. Prefer Sybase, Power Designer knowledge and experience. 7. Demonstrated ability to operationalize technical solutions to ensure adherence to corporate business objectives may outweigh other position requirements. 8.
