Job Description:
Contractor needs to be very strong general-purpose enterprise architect who also happens to have significant experience with Directory Services (LDAP, Active Directory, Notes/Outlook) and Identity Management.
Half of the role will be to lead a team of 3 Directory Services architects who are more product experts (IBM TIM/TAM/LDAP, MS Active Directory, IBM Domino) than true architects. The other half of his role would be as a working enterprise architect (enterprise and application architecture, software design and development leadership, technology strategy, and about 10-20% writing actual code).

Highly experienced lead developer, software architect, and alpha geek with a passion for designing and building software. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

* Deep understanding of advanced software development concepts (CS) and practices.
* Persistent interest in and curiosity about new technologies and approaches to building software.
* Ability to provide authoritative technical leadership when interacting with teams at all levels of the organization.
This position also includes management responsibility over 2-3 Directory Services engineers.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field
* Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
*5+ years experience in application design and development
* 5+ years experience designing and implementing directory services and identity management
* Deep knowledge of C# or Java
* Demonstrable experience architecting large, complex end-to-end solutions
