Web Products Requirements Manager, Mt.Laurel, NJ
Through 5/15/2010
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE SUPERB COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS and be capable of leading discussions with the business, including Manager, Director and VP level individuals
Understand and analyze, design, and write functional requirements for editorial systems or web products for the Client Development solution line. Included in this position is the support of products through development of concept papers, system strategies and architecture plans. The person in this role will need to collaborate with Product Champion (business sponsor) teams and development teams to elicit, analyze and document required system changes as well as understand, plan for and/or make recommendations for upcoming system enhancements. Work with development teams to ensure requirements are understood, and products and enhancements are developed correctly. Conduct design reviews with system interface teams to reach consensus and assure quality. Work with quality assurance team to ensure testing plans and processes are in place to ensure applications correctly support business processes and preserve data quality.

Detailed responsibilities of the Requirements Manager include:
- Lead requirements discussions, elicit business and functional needs from the Business
- Create (or facilitate creation of) various models, documents and specifications that will contribute to effective software development, which may include: Vision documents, Business Process Models, User Stories, Use Cases, Use Case models, Activity (swimlane) diagrams, Collaboration Diagrams, Functional and Supplemental Specifications, and other types of artifacts.
-Effectively collaborate with product teams, users/user proxies, user experience experts, development teams and offshore resources in creating a robust set of specifications as a basis to estimate and build systems.
-Participate as a member of the Functional Requirements team, contributing to define best practices, conduct peer reviews, and build knowledge as required.
-Participate in application deployments.
-Participate in application testing.
-Participate in other development / design activities as required
