POSITION: Cisco Pre-Sales Engineer
SALARY: 100k to 140k

Position Summary: Experience with: Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), formerly Cisco Unified CallManager and Cisco CallManager (CCM), is a software based IP call agent platform sold by Cisco Systems. CUCM tracks all active VoIP network components; these include phones, gateways, conference bridges, transcoding resources, and voicemail boxes among others. CallManager often utilizes the Skinny Client Control Protocol (SCCP) as a communications protocol for signaling the hardware endpoints of the system, such as IP Phones. H.323, Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) or Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is used to pass call signaling to gateways.

o Strong Cisco pre-sales experience CUCM
o Any degrees and/or certifications a plus
o Very good skills in the following areas: Architecture / Design, VoIP, Wireless, Core, Security & Video
o Must be articulate and able to give good presentations to C-level clients and also the technical staff
o No air travel required; driving only (90% within the D.C. area)
NOTES:
This company has a Jedi training center that certain engineers go to to attain their CCVP in 12 weeks. The hiring manager is extremely motivated on this role. A very fast hire.
