Job Description: Lead Platform Engineer:
The purpose of this position is to provide escalation for all Platform infrastructure services in accordance with specific client Service Level Agreements (SLA) and associated documented procedures. Working within a Client?s corporate production environment the Lead Platform Engineer is tasked with learning the business. Understanding the critical components of that business and being able to deliver IT solutions that ensure optimal uptime and performance. The Lead Platform Engineer must use common sense and exercise sound judgment at all times, in order to establish and maintain a level of client trust, confidence and concern. The Lead Platform Engineer is responsible for executing day-to-day operations and administrative tasks, and other responsibilities:including but not limited to the following:
Experience Level: 5+ Years
Requirements: Experience: Seven to 10 years of experience in Data Networking, Systems and IT support. Two to 4 Years in the Managed Services Industry. Working knowledge of industry standard Network Monitoring Utilities (IE, What?s Up Gold, Solarwinds, MRTG, HP Open
View, HP Systems Insight Manager, IBM Tivoli, CA Unicenter) or similar Extensive multi-platform and desktop environments design and Integration. Enterprise application integration and distribution. IP Telephony Network Analysis Enterprise Intrusion prevention, Detection and host interrogation
