Job Description:
Our Client seeks a creative Mechanical Engineer with management potential. This individual must be a self-starter that will propose and provide solutions to meet market needs. We are the productivity leader in the global industrial gas turbine and aerospace markets we serve.
Position Description and Responsibilities:
-Create conceptual layouts, product designs, details, and documentation for machine tools and related devices.
-Create and maintain mechanical bills of material.
-Communicate throughout the organization and externally to see projects through to completion on time and within budget.
-Manage several projects simultaneously.
-Must be able to influence individuals throughout the organization to establish machinery specifications, solve manufacturing problems, and assure that machine tools perform to the customer?s satisfaction.
-Must be able to organize and delegate design work to others within the organization and outside contractors.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
-Minimum 10 years work experience including conceptual machinery designs along with supporting design calculations.
-Must be able to detail cast, welded, machined, and sheet metal parts.
-Proficiency in 3D modeling - Solidworks a plus, Autocad 2D, MRP software, and Microsoft software on personal computers.
-Supervisory and multidiscipline project experience.
-Machine tool experience a plus.
Education:
-Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
