Requirements:
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for project management in support of business initiatives. This position will lead software development and integration projects from conceptualization through implementation, including phases such as analysis, requirements definition, technical design, build deploy and capture value. Projects include management over the integration, and deployment of SAP EP and SAP BW systems. Additional projects may include custom development or integration of portal, ERP systems, or plant MES systems.
* Providing oversight for major business systems projects and advising the project teams and IS Leadership
* Providing quality assurance, guidance and advice at project reviews.
* Providing coaching and guidance on technology decisions
* Provide coaching and mentoring for Bas and Jr. PMs
* Drive project requirements, priorities and deadlines, not just record & manage them.
* Lead highly skilled, cross-functional teams (software developers, IT Operations, vendors, business stakeholders and consultants) across one or more projects. Manage large-scale software integration and customization.

Requirements
* Minimum 5 years` team management experience, including leadership of a large (10+ person) cross-competency (e.g. technology, design, IA) team across a suitable range of project types (tech-heavy, design-intensive, etc) and industry verticals
* Evidence of successful team leadership for multiple project lifecycles.
* Demonstrated ability to train and mentor associate and mid-level project managers
* Minimum 6-8 years` project management experience in a client service environment.
* Proficiency in formal project management methods, including internal documentation and external communications.
* Demonstrated ability to accurately project timing and associated costs across a range of project types, scale and complexity.
* Experience-honed approach to risk aversion, risk management and change control.
* First-hand oversight experience on technical development efforts and ability to speak to merits of, and differences between, commonly used applications and technologies including Rational Unified Process, J2EE, Webdynpro, SAP R3, BW, XI.
* Preferably 7++ years experience with 3+ years SAP successful program/project delivery experience and 3+ years of Portal.
