Connexion Systems & Engineering, a Boston based IT and Engineering Solutions Company immediately seeks individuals with the following skills:

Quality Assurance/Subject Matter Expert ? Healthcare/Insurance
Responsibilities:
Provide deep technical expertise in Data Warehousing/Data Architecture/Informatics, related business processes, and related technologies to guide the test team
Interact with key QA areas to define test cases; establish the requirements traceability matrix; identify, secure and/or manufacture appropriate test data; and provide guidance in the development/execution of test scripts and defect management
Provide oversight and validation of defects submitted by testers
Represent QA at project meetings to discuss status, defects for responsible area, assess impacts and provide input into schedule revisions
Provide cross-training, and promote repeatability, reusability, and efficiencies, to facilitate an efficient matrixed organization
Perform testing tasks (scripting, test execution, document and track defects, etc.), as required.
Background/Experience/Skills Desired:
Significant experience with Data Warehousing/Data Architecture/Informatics, and related technical skills is required. For example:
iterative warehousing development and testing
implementation and application of Data Warehouses and Business Intelligence (BI) tools
data mining and predictive modeling
ETL tools such as Data Stage and / or AbInitio
SQL, DB2, AIX/UNIX, SAS
Significant IT experience in the Healthcare or Insurance industry, with a strong understanding of related data
Quality Assurance and testing experience with complex IT projects within an integrated program.
Experience with QA practices and software development lifecycle, having owned: work estimates, capacity planning, requirement traceability matrix, testing strategy, test case development, manual/automation test scripts, defect management, and test results review
Experience with industry standard testing tools (e.g. Rational Tool Suite, Mercury, etc.)
Strong analytical skills
Ability to assess risk and quality measures based on testing outcomes
Strong verbal and written communication skills
BS in Computer Science or closely related field with 10+ years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Certified Software Testing Engineer (CSTE) designation preferred
