Project Manager ? Mechanical Engineering
JOB SUMMARY:
Coordinates the assignment of projects to the projects/design team. Completes assigned engineering projects in accordance with customers specifications within budget and time constraints, coordinating all the required resources necessary for the successful execution of the project.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develops equipment designs from written instructions and specifications provided at Applications hand-over meeting.
Sources, selects and configures mechanical components for the equipment design, including requisitioning of purchased components.
Compile documentation necessary to adhere to the customer's requirements during the Submittal process and provide all the necessary supporting documentation to manufacturing during the Release process which is not limited to the supply of Structured BOM's and drawings.
Review content of O&M manuals and ensures timely dispatch.
Investigates and initiates corrective actions in collaboration with other managers to solve design problems.
Adheres to engineering Group tasks and time objectives.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attend weekly project review meetings.
Reviews documentation such as Submittals, releases and O&M's manuals.
Perform all duties in accordance with project management principles
Submittal of weekly reporting data as required by head of department
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S.E/ degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum 5-7 years experience in mechanical or related field.
