Reference Number: 15383-AB-MM Job Description: Product Development Engineer to provide engineering design and development projects of consumable goods including household fixtures. Responsibilities include new product development, transferal of concepts to complete mechanical design, technical research, and project management. All designs use Pro/Engineer with Windchill data management. Position is with a Central NJ manufacturer of durable consumable goods. Experience Level: Unspecified Requirements: ME or other Engineering degree plus 5+ years experience in new product design/ development engineering in durable or consumer goods industry. Additional requirements: * Experience with design integration of metals, plastics and other material. * Knowledge of process improvement with Six Sigma certification * Requires proficiency in Pro/Engineer * Knowledge of casting, forging, and injection molding processes. * Knowledge of electronics, or sensor technology is preferred * Good analytical skills, ability to solve engineering design & manufacturing production process problems. Technically innovative with ability to apply creativity in design methodology. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Up to 25% travel.

Location: New Brunswick NJ Duration: Direct Placement Pay Rate: $50k - $100k
