Job Description:
* Approximately a 3 month contract position in a medical product manufacturing environment.
* Update internal inspection documents to reflect current requirements.
* Update internal manufacturing routers
* Develop/update inspections techniques to meet current quality requirements
* Perform investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for internal non-conformance reports.
* Provide technical support to the operators regarding inspection and documentation issues.
* Implement Operations portion of Engineering Changes.

Experience Level:
Unspecified

Requirements:
* 2+ years experience in a production/manufacturing environment with emphasis on general machining (milling/turning)
* Demonstrated ability to manage and execute projects to completion
* Demonstrated proficiency in required PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize and accomplish work with little supervision (self starter) with a high level of organization.
* Experience working in a highly regulated quality environment, FDA/cGMP preferred
* Ability to read blueprints and a basic understanding of GD&T. Advanced knowledge of GD&T desirable.
* Understanding of general inspection techniques, utilizing optical comparators, calipers, micrometers, height indicators, etc.
* Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with other departments to get tasks closed
* Strong communication and written skills, and must possess the ability to concisely convey issues to various levels of the organization.
