Reference Number: SoCo200 Job Description: SDS Resources, LLC is seeking a Structural Engineer with experience in steel connection design and detail. This applicant must be a degreed individual with a minimum of five years experience on structural steel design for heavy industrial, petrochemical or power generating facilities. Experience Level: Unspecified Requirements: Detailed knowledge of structural steel design using AISC Steel Construction Manual ASD 9th edition Detailed knowledge of load calculations including extensive experience with wind and seismic design provisions of ASCE-7 05 Experience with steel connection details and steel connection design Demonstrated proficiency with the latest release of STAAD-PRO Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse team environment Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office is a plus SDS Resources, LLC is a staffing firm located in Birmingham, Alabama.
