Job Description:
We are looking for several experienced (8 - 10 years) Sr. Project Managers for a variety of projects for our client. They are looking for Sr. PMs with "Big 4" experience on Large Enterprise projects and either Applications Development, ITIL Implementations or Infrastructure projects experience.

The selected candidates will be responsible for the successful management and delivery of large, high-priority, enterprise-level projects that could span across multiple divisions within IT.

Responsibilities:
o Manages day-to-day operational aspects of large corporate initiatives that span multiple applications and platforms.
o Determines optimal project approach for each effort and manage project through the full project life cycle.
o Ensures that proper change management process is established and adhered to throughout the project.
o Plans, creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Manages project scope.
o Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
o Applies client's project management methodology and enforces project standards.
o Interfaces regularly with project executive sponsors from both IT and business. Effectively communicates important project information to stakeholders.
o Manages and minimizes project risk.
o Ensures project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.
o Tracks and reports the project?s schedule and costs on a weekly basis and manages to the project?s budget.
o Tracks team hours. Ensures all project team members are 100% utilized.
o Effectively facilitates team and business meetings.
o Holds regular status meetings with project team and keeps the project team informed of changes that affect the work.

This is a subject matter expert in a project/program management role within an IT Project Management Office (PMO), or within an IT department independent of a PMO. Viewed as an expert individual contributor in project management methodologies and IT disciplines because of diverse and wide-ranging IT and project management
experience, and mastery of commonly accepted project management. manages or integrates multiple large-scale,highly complex and diverse IT projects of a strategic nature, or the more difficult portions of such projects, involving multiple platforms within IT (i.e., Software Development, Telecommunications, etc.). May be involved in organizing steering committee teams. Develops scope and cost allocation plans. Creates implementation plan and Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) documentation, and assists other less experienced Project Managers with their implementation plans and CBA?s. Coordinates and oversees project resources, (i.e., various departments from other business areas, IT Managers, IT programmers, Quality Assurance Analysts, IT Business Systems Analysts, etc.). Challenges scope and work estimates that seem extraordinary, providing acceptable alternatives as needed. Works with project sponsor to reallocate resources for non-critical path issues. Prepares contingency plans for cost control and risk identification. Creates communication plans, mitigates project risks, works with external vendors, and reports project status back to management (i.e., IT Department Manager, and/or business area management). May provide coordination for a portfolio of interdependent projects with the overall goal of improving project delivery and efficiency. Sought out as an expert and unique individual contributor to help advise and address organizational challenges related to project management. Works on problems of significant and critical impact and complexity where analysis of situations or data requires review of a variety of factors and creativity to determine an appropriate solution. Exercises superior judgment in selecting methods and techniques to solve problems. Serves as an escalation point and training resource to less experienced Project Managers. Entry into this level is controlled and limited, and should not be viewed as a natural progression.

Experience Level:
5+ Years

Requirements:
**Big 4 Consulting Experience Required**
PMP Certification strongly preferred.

Must have 10-12 years of related work experience, which includes at least 8 years of experience managing formalized IT projects or in a technical role facilitating or leading aspects of IT projects in large corporate environments.
Experience in managing agile-based projects a plus, but not necessary. Knowledge of ITIL a plus, but not necessary.

o Exhibit leadership qualities that enable them to motivate the project team to achieve outstanding results.
o Possess a general understanding of various technologies and technical concepts that could include: application programming, database design, system design, internet and web presence, or client/server architectures.
o Must be able to demonstrate ability to help guide and lead the work of others.
o The proven ability to develop and implement policies and procedures.
o Must be able to demonstrate expertise in creating Work Break Down Structures, Risk Management techniques, Gantt Charts, Pert Charts, Cost Estimating, and other concepts associated with project management methodologies.
o Extensive technology knowledge required.
o The ability to implement department goals that align with current and future Company objectives and initiatives, and provide recommendations into strategic direction setting.
o Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to find successful resolutions for highly complex and/or unique issues.
o Exceptional organization skills with the ability to drive departmental project objectives through to completion, and motivate others accordingly.
