Job Description: Looking for highly motivated college graduates to join the organization. As a First Level NOC Operations Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the health and 100% availability of systems, as well as evaluate, and maintain existing or proposed networks, platforms and systems. In addition, you may participate in the planning and execution of Data Center-wide projects. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, while providing event response targeted toward quality customer service. You must also demonstrate the ability to work well in a team-based environment and communicate with consultants, vendors and customers. The position requires you to be able to work in a 24x7 production oriented environment, and maintain a high level of 'attention to detail,' regarding critical work items. To be successful, you will need to exhibit the ability to multitask in order to balance a wide range of IT responsibilities in a dynamic work environment and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The right candidate will be self-motivated, hard working and driven toward advancement in the IT profession.
This is a fast-paced work environment which focuses on career, technical, and interpersonal skills development.
Experience Level: 2 Years
Requirements: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Applied Network & Systems Administration, Information Science & Technology, Information and Telecommunication Systems, Management Information Systems, or other IT related major or 3 to 4 years of experience 2. Excellent professional skills, including effective team skills, oral and written communication skills, analytical skills, and customer service skills 3. Proven troubleshooting and problem solving skills 4. Ability to relate technical information to non-technical people 5. Demonstrated leadership capabilities 6. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (preferred) 7. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs 8. Ability to work off shifts, and cover other shifts 9. Certain technical knowledge or skill sets are preferred: Distributed Systems Administration: Windows 2003/2008 Server Unix/Linux SQL Server Network Load Balancers Active Directory Server DNS, DHCP and WINS SharePoint Portal Server VMWare Change Management
