Job Description: A Mobile, Alabama manufacturing facility has a nimmediate opening for a warehouse supervisor. Excellent work environment in the oil and gas industry, excelletn safety record. Benefits begin on the first day of employment. The warehouse manager will competently perform all aspects of warehouse planning, scheduling, shipping, and receiving. The Manager will be responsible for supervising and scheduling all warehouse and shipping personnel. At this level the individual may provide some technical guidance.
Essential Functions:
1. Analyzes warehouse schedule identifying problems on work orders and shipments, recommends alternate plans of action and actively monitors reported progress against the warehouse schedule or material requirements.
2. Responsible for the accurate and timely receipt of material from vendors; timely shipping and receiving of material to/from branches; maintain inventory levels required for the current business level; and maintain accurate inventory records.
3. Responsible for making sure that all paperwork is proper processed promptly.
4. Responsible for making sure that the warehouse adheres to safety regulations to provide a safe work environment for all personnel.
5. Interfaces with appropriate staff of other functions, Sales, Quotations, Purchasing, Materials Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing or Outside Vendors, and/or client as needed.
6. Responsible for providing detailed, timely progress reports to Sales, Quotations, Purchasing, Materials Planning, Branch Warehouse, Engineering, Manufacturing or Outside Vendors, Customers and/or Client as needed of the shipments.

Experience Level: 3 Years
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university or equivalent obtained through relevant job experience.
2. Requires a broad knowledge of methods and procedures within a warehouse and distribution environment.
3. Requires the ability to effectively present solutions to scheduling questions from groups of clients or customers.
4. Requires strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written.
5. Requires the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization may exist.
6. Requires the ability to demonstrate initiative and assertiveness, the ability to plan and organize work in an efficient manner, and the ability to work well under stress and time pressures.
