Job Description:
An International manufacturing facility has an opening in their Mobile, Alabama facility for a Product Controls Engineer. Experience in the oil and gas experience a plus. Subsea experience is preferred.
This individual will work independently under general direction, perform a variety of engineering work in planning and design of products and mechanical processes. Create product designs to meet customer requirements, coordinate major design efforts with the customers and sales, Perform engineering calculations to analyze operating parameters and stress in product components. Prepare technical data and papers for sales personnel, customers and publications. Provide technical guidance and work direction. May serve regularly in a leadership capacity.
Essential Functions:
---Provide technical support for manufacturing and field service to assist in troubleshooting problems.
---Write assembly and test procedures for products designed.
---Assure that engineering requirements are being met by monitoring the assembly and test operations in manufacturing.
---Perform industry required performance verification tests to qualify products as required.

-Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
-3-5 years experience with subsea equipment a plus
-Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
-Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written
