General Summary of Purpose
Provides general engineering in support of product development efforts.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Must perform a wide variety of duties associated with product engineering in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. Specific products at present are Schottky, TVS, and Superfast Diode, with additional products to be added.

2. Specific duties will include:
>Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) as related to QS9000;
>Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FM&A);
>Control plans development;
>Product code database updating;
>Traveler development and maintenance;
>Corrective actions requests from customers;
>Maverick lot disposition;
>Document verification & approval;
>Coordinator for yield improvement;
>Backup electrical test engineer;
>Other duties as the Director of Wafer Fab Engineering may request.

Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering

Experience
At least two years experience in semiconductor processing.

Other Qualifications and Requirements
1. Knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Word.
2. Must be prompt, dependable, and have perseverance.
3. Good attitude, ability to work with all levels of the organization as well as customers.
