Job Description: A Red Prairie Development Lead person is needed for client located in the Roanoke VA area.
Candidate will provide leadership, direction and guidance around Red Prairie development to Business Analysts, SQA Analysts, Team Leads, team member and related business partners.
Responsibilities: 1. Perform complex product design which may require extensive research and analysis 2. Perform design, implementation and maintenance of complex, multiple products modules/sub-systems 3. Problem solving 4. Research new technology or development tools to remain current 5. Lead and participate in software quality assurance (test cases, unit, integration , and systems) 6. Defining and implementing development processes and procedures necessary to ensure solutions are delivered
Salary: $98,000.00+ / DOE
Experience Level: 5+ Years
Requirements: 1. BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering Information Systems or equivalent education 2. 8 years development experience 3. 3+ years in (SOA) Service Oriented Architectures 4. 2-3 years of experience developing with Red Prairie 5. Relational Database development 6. Oracle, DB2, MS SQL 7. MOCA, DDA, Integrator 8. Experience developing in UNIX/LINIX and Windows operating system environment 9. Best Practice methods for development in an Object Oriented environment 10. Strong technical development and infrastructure architecture knowledge 11. Strong analytical and design skills at multi-product level 12. Integration with both purchased (packaged) and custom applications 13. Experience with SDLC and QA methods and techniques 14. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project 15. Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment with strong customer service 16. Development skills with C++ or Java 17. Strong technical documentation skills 18. Experience in functional, non-functional, assembly, integration, load, performance and stress testing 19. Prior leadership in a matrix organization structure 20. Experience with estimating and forecasting resource needs on large/complex software development efforts 21. Knowledge if supply chain and distribution concepts 22. Familiarity with ExtJs, Groovy, Eclipse, Subversion, XML SPY, Visual Studio and Hibernate 23. Strong Project Management Skills 24. Agile/Scrum Experience 25. Experience with AS/400 26. Experience with automated test tools, code coverage and code complexity tools 27. Knowledge of Software Engineering Institute Capability Maturity Model (SEI CMMi)
